A silent shadow looms...

Vampire Survivors inspired top down shooter with some minion combining alchemy magic-mechanics.

Fight the army of shadows and guide your brave troops with your flag (LMB and RMB)!

If you collect three of the same minion, you'll transmute them to a more powerful version.

We like the prototype and greatly appreciate any feedback! We feel like polishing this and making it into a full game eventually.

I like the minions gathering mechanic. Though keeping them alive is a tedious task indeed.  Using flag ultimately did not make much sense, keeping minions close is way more effective.

Overall I like the entry, had fun trying it out.

I'm not the biggest fan of controlling a very weak character resorting on minions to get damage, it would be good but the fact that they can die hinder the progression in my opinion, where taking damage causes to also lose fire power

I like the sound effects and the art, they're cute ! nice entry

Thats a really valid point. We thought about that during dev and tried to balance it a bit by giving only player power from the lvlUp -power ups but I too feel like it's not enough. I'm thinking maybe it would be better if the minions didn't perma-die but instead got knocked over and then could be saved again after a while.
Thank you for feedback!

honestly just make minions invincible, and less minions to catch if you are worried about balance/performances. It's fun to run around and get them, seeing them evolve etc...

I think you worry too much about the player getting overpowered.

Cool mechanics, they're the highlight of the game. Levelling up feels great, and the upgrades from level to level add a lot of depth to the game in a satisfying way.

The minions are a cute mechanic, but the flag feels quite hard to use, often it'd just end up sending them to their miserable deaths in a sea of monsters, good time overall!

The art is also pretty great, I especially enjoy the intro at the start, but the enemies have some cute designs too.

This was a fun game, but super hard! I got all the way to level  15, I think I spent 30 minutes playing lol. I think making it easier would make it more fun. Also, I wasn't sure what the red bar on top meant. Is that the number of enemies? Is it possible to win? If not, is your level what you are wanting to beat each replay? Loved the audio btw.

Overall, awesome game, amazing art! Good job guys!

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah some things were left a bit unclear, the red bar is a boss's HP. There spawns one when you've survived for 10minutes and you win by beating him. I wanted to give players more indicatation when and where he spawns but ran a bit out of time! Thanks for playing!
